I’m a columnist writing about race, culture and ethnic communities for the Los Angeles Times. I created and co-hosted Asian Enough, an interview podcast for the LA Times about Asian American life and culture. A story I wrote won a Los Angeles Press Club and is under development for a feature film. My work has also appeared in Entertainment Weekly, The Orange Register, and the Nashville City Paper. I’ve also stocked shelves at a hippie grocery store, tutored the siblings of Hollywood celebrities, worked at a library and taught English in Taiwan.
